2011 April, Memorial service for Lee Sheppard, a 6 year Cold Case solved by Ron McQuilter and re-affirmed by a Jury Inquest in London in Feb 2011

2011 April, New PI Act commences and Paragon feature on TV3 with specialist surveillance operators and equipment ready for the new Act

2011 February, Full-time business mentor appointed to work with Ron McQuilter. Strategic planning to develop our services and processes

2010 November, Paragon launch a dedicated Specialist Security Services with over 40 guards working the World Dairy Summit in Auckland see our security site here 

2010 October, Paragon partners with several other websites and appoints dedicated Vetting officers to Paragon's in-house secure Vetting Services

2010 July 1, Ron McQuilter is appointed Managing Director

2010 June 30, Winston Churchill once said that change is good if it's in the right direction. A major company re-structure is undertaken.

2010 Paragon wins Top award by National Business Review

2009 Ron McQuilter wins the IBANZ  "Insurance Investigator of the Year" award

2009 Paragon responsible for a $3million dollar recovery for client.

2009 "Inside New Zealand" Paragon plays a significant role in identifying and capturing one of the worlds biggest Welfare cheats. $3.6 Million recovered.

2008 Paragon awarded several national contracts.

2007 (September) Paragon expands it's network of investigators, now able to deal with investigations in any part of New Zealand.

2006 Bryan Mogridge is appointed as chairman of our Board of Directors. Atul Mehta, partner at Markhams Accountants is appointed a Director of our Board

2005 (April) Paragon moves into the "Paragon Building" in Albany, a brand new two storey 10,200 sq/ft office building

2004 Ron re-brands The Investigation Bureau as Paragon Risk

1994 Ron's business The Investigation Bureau now the largest private detective agency in New Zealand

1983 Ron McQuilter arrives in New Zealand and starts working as a private investigator

1974 Legislation is enacted to form the Private Investigators and Security Guards Act 1974
